Meta description: Learn about the best places to get coupons that you can print and bring to the store with you.

There was a time not that long ago when many of us looked forward to the Sunday newspaper arriving, but not so we could read the articles in the travel section or check the latest news and statistics about a favorite sports team. It was the coupons we craved, the pages and pages of inserts stuck between sections of the paper we could cut out and use throughout the week to save money on items written down on our shopping lists.

Most of us don't subscribe to the Sunday paper anymore, thanks to the Internet, and those coupons aren't showing up on our front porches in droves anymore, but those manufacturer coupons are still out there, ripe for the picking. Today, a ton of websites exist that allow you to print out coupons for free to help you save money. It takes a little bit of time to learn the ropes, but you can see significant savings spending an hour or less each week -- even as little as 10 minutes will add up to savings -- printing out coupons and applying them to your purchases.
Where should you start? Glad you asked. Here are five of the best websites that have money-saving printable coupons you can use right away, as well as tips, advice and strategies that will help you save even more.

1. Coupons.com

This is sort of the granddaddy of all coupon websites. There are thousands of coupons posted here for you to print out, and the site has a savings tracker so you can see how much you'll save if you use them all. Downloading their Grocery IQ app allows you to create a shopping list, locate stores, find coupons and coupon codes and set up a profile to have weekly savings alerts delivered to your inbox.

2. Frugga

A majority of coupon bloggers out there love this website. Frugga posts some of the best coupons, coupon codes, promotional offers and sales found on the Internet (so "they" say). There are thousands of deals listed here, from the more obvious coupon-ready goods, like grocery store items and restaurant bargains, to the not-so-typical coupon products, like jewelry, clothes, outdoor supplies, prescription drugs and web hosting. Frugga is visually pleasing and easy to navigate. The site's savings calculator allows you to search for coupons by category or store and even has a feature that allows you to find deals based on your budget.

3. The Krazy Coupon Lady

Spelling crazy with a K means you have to take this website seriously, right? Krazy Coupon Lady folds together newspaper coupons, mobile coupons, e-coupons and printable coupons into a one-stop source for savings. There are coupons here for just about every shopping category you can imagine, including dollar store savings, but this site also offers tips to help you stretch your money with cost-cutting ideas and advice. A unique feature of this website is the finance section where you can find opportunities to earn some extra cash, which you can then, of course, spend on the coupons you've collected.

4. Flamingo World

This is a seemingly endless resource of savings. The best attribute of Flamingo World is that you don't have to sign up and create a user profile to access the site's printable coupons. If you want to, though, you can, and you'll have weekly savings alerts delivered to your inbox or delivered via text. There are both printable coupons and e-coupons found here in long lists by category or store. This site takes a little longer than others to navigate because there are so many coupons available, but if you're willing to sift through the posted deals, you'll pocket significant savings.

5. Surviving the Stores

You'll find all of the usual retail, restaurant, grocery store and online coupons here, as well as the opportunity to sign up and receive weekly savings alerts, but Surviving the Stores also offers coupons from regional stores and chains that you won't find on other coupon websites. Additionally, the site has a section with freebie stuff, including manufacturer samples and food. Read through the many guides posted on this website, and learn even more strategies to help you create a budget, and stay within that budget, by finding the best offers and deals currently available.
